About Old Fannie Farm
Rooted in Flomaton, Alabama, we grow and share fragrant, resilient roses. From a single unnamed pink bush in 1989 to two dedicated acres of thriving blooms, our mission is to make growing stunning roses simple and joyful for every garden.

How our rose journey began
In 1989, I was given an unnamed pink rose bush that journeyed with me through four moves over 32 years. In 2019, I started propagating cherished roses as a hobby. When Old Fannie Farm officially opened two years later with 20 varieties, they sold out almost immediately. That very year, my original pink rose passed away. Taking it as a clear sign, I dedicated myself to sharing healthy, fragrant roses with fellow plant lovers.

Simple care and hands-on dedication
We live by a simple rule: keep things simple. We never baby our plants with heavy chemical sprays or unnecessary fertilizers. Every rose arriving from partner nurseries is personally inspected for health, then hand-potted into our custom-mixed soil. Whether nurturing our 3-gallon potted roses or preparing healthy bareroot plants for shipping across the country, no rose leaves our farm until it is strong and ready to thrive.

Visiting our Flomaton farm
Today, Old Fannie Farm features two full acres dedicated entirely to roses. During our open season from February through May, we warmly welcome visitors to schedule an appointment to stop by, stroll the grounds, and simply stop and smell the roses. Whether picking up an online order or finding your next garden centerpiece in person, we are delighted to welcome you to our farm.
